Red Root is a valuable herb from the Buhner protocol. Red Root is especially important for the Lymph system and stimulates the immune system.
Dosage and use - tincture
Average treatment | 3 x 15 drops a day. |
Intensive treatment/dosage according to Buhner | 3 x 30 to 90 drops a day. |

Preferably taken on an empty stomach. Take the drops pure (hold under the tongue) or put in a glass of water and drink.
Adjust the dose downwards in children. (in proportion to body weight.)
Build up
Always start the course with a low dose. The more severe the symptoms, the lower the starting dose. Drink a lot of (water) during the course of treatment and preferably also use detoxifying and exuding agents at the same time. (such as ZeoliteMED or Chlorella)
Duration of the treatment
Depending on the complaints and the stage, 2 to 12 months. Even longer if necessary. Do not exceed the recommended maximum daily dose.
Red Root has no side effects. However, do not use during pregnancy and also not in combination with blood thinners.
Composition
Undiluted mother tincture of dried leaves of the American lilac of biological origin. The tincture is organically produced by Biosphere in Groede and is EKO and Skal certified. NL-BIO-01 Skal026872. The tincture is made with 70% organic alcohol and spring water. Strength: 1: 8.
Dosage and use - tea
Use the herb as a tea. Do not let the herb boil.
Light tea for a low dose: steep one teaspoon of herb (= 1.25 gr) in a cup of boiled water (short) (200 ml - 250 ml) and drink after breakfast.
Dark tea for a higher dose: four teaspoons of herb (= 5 gr) on one liter of boiled water and drink this throughout the day. The tea has a bitter taste. Possibly combine with anise, peppermint or honey against the bitter taste.
The tea can be left to steep for 5 to 10 minutes. (according to personal preference)
The longer the tea has been brewed, the more bitter substances are released. These are beneficial to the body.
Red Root tea is a traditional herbal remedy that improves the immune system and relaxes the mind. Tea is often chosen in contrast to pills.

Latin name: Ceanothus Americanus or American lilac.
