Chinese Skullcap tincture / Scutellaria baicalensis
The Latin name is 'Scutellaria baicalensis' and her English name is 'Chinese Skullcap' and it is called 'Huang Qin' in Chinese. In Dutch this is called: 'Chinese skullcap'. The name is derived from the Latin word 'scutella' which means 'small shell' because the small flowers of these plants have a saucer-like or helmet-like shape.
