The tropical tree Moringa oleifera has become known through UNESCO projects in which nutritional deficiencies are being remedied in developing countries with moringa. The plant contains five times as much calcium as in milk, seven times as much vitamin C as in oranges, three times as much potassium as in bananas, three times as much iron as in spinach and four times as much vitamin A as in carrots. And this list can still be expanded. In the same way this 'tree for life' is also suitable to supplement nutritional deficiencies.
